1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
MyAthma has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Users may not create, upload, store, share, solicit, promote, or otherwise distribute content that sexually exploits, harms, or endangers children.
Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, grooming, sextortion, sexualized comments or requests involving minors, trafficking, attempts to obtain intimate images of a child, or any behavior that facilitates the sexual exploitation of a child.
2. How users can report concerns
MyAthma provides in-app paths for users to raise safety concerns, including content reporting on posts and report options in chat safety flows. Users can also contact the designated child safety inbox at admin@myathma.com if they need to escalate a child safety issue outside the app.
Reports should include as much detail as possible, such as usernames, post or chat context, timestamps, screenshots, and any immediate safety concern. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first.
3. Review, removal, and enforcement
MyAthma reviews child safety reports through moderation and trust-and-safety workflows. When content or conduct appears to violate this policy, we may remove or disable access to the material, restrict affected features, preserve relevant records as required, and suspend or terminate the accounts involved.
Attempts to evade enforcement, re-upload removed material, or use the service to contact, target, or exploit minors are grounds for immediate action, including permanent account removal.
4. Legal compliance and mandatory reporting
When MyAthma obtains actual knowledge of apparent CSAM, we take appropriate action in line with applicable law and this policy, including removing or disabling access to the material and escalating confirmed CSAM reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or another relevant regional authority where required.
MyAthma also cooperates with lawful requests from law enforcement and other competent authorities relating to child safety investigations, subject to applicable law and data handling requirements.
5. Child safety point of contact
The designated child safety point of contact for MyAthma is admin@myathma.com. This contact is responsible for receiving child safety notices, coordinating review and enforcement responses, and handling platform escalation requests.
