How MyAthma collects, uses, and protects user information.

This policy covers the current MyAthma product experience, including sign-in, user profiles, stories, posts, comments, direct messages, notifications, referrals, wallet activity, KYC review, ad preferences, and payout requests.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create and operate a MyAthma account, including your name, phone number or email address, username, referral code, profile photo, bio, location, website, interests, and account settings.

When you use the app, we may process the content you upload or create, including posts, stories, comments, direct messages, media uploads, report and moderation details, push-notification device tokens, and activity such as follows, likes, bookmarks, or story views.

If you use wallet, referral, KYC, or payout features, we may process wallet balances, ledger entries, withdrawal requests, payout details, and verification records such as document type, document number, identity images, or selfie verification submitted through the product.

2. How we use information

We use your information to authenticate accounts, deliver the feed and messaging experience, support profile discovery, operate notifications, manage referrals and wallet balances, review KYC submissions, process withdrawal requests, prevent abuse, and maintain platform safety.

MyAthma may also use profile information, selected interests, location you voluntarily provide, app session data, and ad preferences to improve content relevance or ad targeting inside the product. Users can disable personalized ads in the app settings when that control is available.

3. Permissions and device access

MyAthma may request access to your camera to capture stories, your photo library or media storage to upload images or videos, network access to send and retrieve app data, and push-notification permissions so you can receive activity or messaging updates.

We do not describe the app as performing cross-app tracking in the current iOS privacy manifest. If that changes, this page should be updated before a new store submission.

4. Sharing and disclosure

Your content and profile details are shared inside MyAthma according to the product features you use. For example, posts, stories, comments, and profile details may be visible to other users; direct messages are visible to the participants in those conversations; and moderation or KYC information may be reviewed by authorized internal staff.

We may also share data with service providers that help us operate storage, media processing, notifications, payments, security, or infrastructure. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to enforce our terms, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or safety incidents.

5. Retention

We keep account data for as long as it is needed to operate the service, investigate safety issues, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or maintain financial and security records. Different data types may have different retention periods.

Wallet, payout, fraud-prevention, moderation, and KYC-related records may be retained for longer than general profile content where legal, security, or compliance requirements apply.

6. Your choices

You can update profile information and many app preferences from within the product. You may also request account deletion through our public deletion page.

For a deletion request, visit Account Deletion. For privacy questions or access-related requests, contact admin@myathma.com.

7. Children and sensitive use cases

MyAthma is not intended for illegal, harmful, or abusive use. Do not submit someone else's identity information without authorization, and do not use the service to upload unlawful or infringing content.
